Through ‘reawakening’ the Ulster Folk Museum, you'll get to experience the museum as a dynamic heritage and environment resource that you can depend on time and time again.

This is a place to get involved in nature and environmental activities through our 'Growing' programme that will launch in Spring and re-emerge in Autumn during Harvest.

FORAGING IN SPRING

Did you know? Our museum is home to The Conservation Volunteers’ North Down branch. From Green Gyms to weekly Tree Nursery Volunteering Taster sessions, volunteers will continue to have opportunities to get hands-on with nature and see the museum blossom through active engagement and participation.
