Did you know the Ulster Folk Museum is home to The Conservation Volunteer's tree nursery?

This is where native trees are grown and nurtured to help us create woodlands and forests for a biodiverse and sustainable future. As well as learning practical skills, this is a chance to meet like-minded people and develop your relationship with nature and yourself. The Conservation Volunteers also offer opportunities to improve your career prospects through gaining experience in Volunteer Leadership, Horticulture and other practical skills.

Come along and get involved with this exciting project every week from Monday to Thursday, and every other Saturday! Whether if you're new to volunteering or an expert in wildlife conservation, get hands-on to help grow and plant native trees.

Please visit The Conservation Volunteer website to find out more and book a session or send them an email directly at tcv-treenursery@tcv.org.uk
