Woodwork Workshop

Discover the art of traditional wood carving in this bespoke one-day workshop with Ulster Folk Museum’s heritage carpenter, Peter Sloan.

Spend the day in Gillespie's Carpenter's Workshop and make a traditional wooden stool, known as a pine board creepie stool. You'll be using traditional hand tools such as saws, rasps and chisels as you cut, shape and assemble your piece - ready to go home with you on the same day!

Please note, lunch is included in this workshop.
