The Womenfolk Tours are now sold out. You can still visit McCusker’s Pub where you can enjoy a drink and listen to an all-female trad session curated by Moving on Music with a general admission ticket to the Ulster Folk Museum. 

Delve into into the often untold stories of women living in Ulster over 100 years ago in this guided tour with our Senior Curator of History. 

Learn about the women who lived and worked in our buildings and discover what their lives were like, the challenges they faced, and the impact they had on their families and communities. Visit McCusker’s Pub where you can enjoy a drink and listen to an all-female trad session curated by Moving on Music. This is an inclusive event and everyone is welcome. Tours are suitable for 16+.

What to know

  • There will be two tours at 12:30 and 13:30. Please book your place and choose your slot through the ticket link. 
  • Please meet for the beginning of your tour outside the Ulster Folk Museum shop. 
  • Tours are one hour long and traditional music will be taking place in McCusker's Pub from 13:30 
  • Please note, the tours require pre-booking but traditional music sessions in McCusker’s Pub is open to anyone visiting the museum on the day.
  • Tour tickets include access to the museum for the day.
