Looking for a creative activity to enjoy together? Join us at Ulster Folk Museum for a beginner-friendly stitching workshop designed for one adult and one child to learn side by side. 

Whether you've never picked up a needle before or simply want to try something new, our friendly team will guide you through the basics. Together, you'll learn how to make a simple needlework bag, and explore some basic embroidery stitches for decorative finishes. 

Along the way, you'll discover how traditional sewing skills were used in everyday life and view original needlework pieces from the museum's collection for inspiration.

This workshop is designed for an adult and child (12+) attending together, and tickets are £30.
