Please note, this event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Settle in by the fire at our cosy pub, McCusker’s, for an evening of fine Scottish whisky and delicious food tasting at Ulster Folk Museum.
Guided by whisky expert Duncan Campbell, you’ll explore the rich history and distinctive flavours of Scottish Whisky, sampling four varieties - one blended whisky and three single malts from different regions.
To complement your tasting, The Edible Flower will serve a delicious menu of Scottish-themed canapés, including:
- Mini potato apples with Hegarty’s cheddar
- Scallion boxty with tomato chutney and crispy haggis (vegetarian option available)
- Homemade wheaten with lemon & dulse butter, served with smoked eel or salmon
- Mini fifteens for a sweet finish
Whether you’re a seasoned whisky lover or a curious beginner, this is a perfect way to spend a cosy evening in great company.
This event is part of Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Leid and Lairn Festival; a celebration of the rich language, culture, and history of the Ulster-Scots tradition.
