Get behind the scenes of the Ulster Folk Museum's replica costume workrooms on Saturday 14th November. 

Explore the hidden world of our costumes that our visitor guides wear and discover why they are such an important part of the Folk Museum. You’ll see where our costumes are made, repaired and designed, along with a wide range of garments linked to our historic exhibit buildings. Learn why they are worn in different locations across the museum, from the blacksmith in the forge to the stitchers in the dressmaker's house. You'll also get to see some of the original items that costumes are based on.
