Find out about what biodiversity is and why it is important in this hands-on workshop for Key Stages 1 & 2. Discover the real scientific research that happens on-site and get involved by assessing the biodiversity of different habitats. Learn about citizen science and the things we can do on a daily basis to encourage biodiversity in our local area. Engaging in this session will help students to feel that their interest and contributions can have a positive impact on the world, in terms of research, conservation and societal wellbeing.
