Can you tell your Buttercups from your Daises? Learn how to identify wildflowers in this full day workshop with the BSBI (Botanical Society for Britain and Ireland).

Are you a complete newbie when it comes to wildflower identification? If so this workshop is for you! Learn a simple but highly effective method of identifying wildflowers on Saturday 15th June at the Ulster Folk Museum. The Finding the Family First (FFF) method helps you become familiar with the floral and vegetative characteristics of the most common wildflower families. It also shows how these characteristics differ between plant families.

In this day long workshop, you'll start with classroom based learning, working in small groups and guided by an expert tutor. The afternoon session will be fieldwork, giving you the opportunity to put your learnings into practise.
