Samhain (Sow-wen) marks the end of the Harvest season and the beginning of the darker half of the year. To celebrate the Irish festival of Samhain, children's authors Marianne McShane and Máire Zepf have uncovered some of the most mysterious seasonal tales from Irish folklore and mythology to share with your little ones.

Come along to this hands-on, interactive children's workshop in October as our storytellers weave new life into old stories!

Saturday 28th October, 11:00 to 12:30

Join children's author, Máire Zepf, and illustrator, Mr Ando (Andrew Whitson), as they share spooky Irish folklore tales through storytelling and hands-on art making. Mr Ando will bring creatures to life through live drawing and give little ones a hand in creating their own monstrous masterpieces!
